Wrath of the Linkbacks 2.4.2

What’s up with the title? I was trying to get WotLK, linkbacks, and patch 2.4.2 all in there and epically failed

First up, some long overdue linkbacks to:

Laser Chicken - This poor guy has has Petoholics on his blogroll forever but I only found it out after he left the game. But now he’s back and it’s about time I pay him his dues!

Warcraft and Other Hooha - I’m not exactly sure what “Hooha” is but it seems to have lots of pretty screenshots and interesting topics so I like it

The Troll Hunter - Again, I’m not listed as a “Great Hunter Site”. What does a girl have to do to get recognition around here? On second thought, don’t answer that. I kid of course. Friendly /wave over to Wolfrider!

Next, Patch 2.4.2. It’s live now (or so I’ve been told; I’m at work right now) and the issue that’s been up on my mind is the Growl changes. Blizzard said “Growl now scales with Hunter RAP, not pet RAP” but Mania, Znodis, and others have responded with “Umm, nothing’s changed. Here’s the data from all the tests we’ve performed.” Blizzard then stares blankly at them for a moment then says loudly to no one in particular “Growl now scales with Hunter RAP, not pet RAP.” Hilarity ensues, or at least it would if this wasn’t just plain irritating. My Mr. Paladin has a saying: “If you say something loud enough and long enough, people begin to believe it.” Okay, maybe that works with some people but reality can’t be convinced no matter how loud you yell. I don’t know where things are going awry but something’s not right and I hope Blizzard can at least straighten things out.

Remember how a couple of hours ago I made the name suggestion form anonymous? Within those couple of hours I’m had four different people send me prank emails. So now name and email are required again. Hope you guys had a few good laughs while they lasted.

I’m still mad

Blizzard, if for whatever reason you’re reading this, I’m so not happy with you. Yes, you know what I’m talking about. Don’t give me that “Whatever do you mean?” crap. *points her finger in their face* Oh yes, you know….

Just give back the ghost wolf and all is forgiven.

…I’m seriously thinking that we should start a petition or something.
I’m posting this during my lunch hour break at school so I didn’t have time to do much. Just rearranged my blogroll so now BRK and Mania have a place of honor under “Hunter Resources”. I hope it doesn’t tick anyone off that they weren’t put there too. Really, there are other blogs that could be considered hunter resources but then I’m splitting hairs. So I just went with Mania and BRK because they are undeniably the best authorities on hunters (even if their personality does not quite mesh with my own *cough*BRK*cough*).

With everyone else, whoever links to me gets placed under “Favorite Blogs”. Those who don’t, well, you’re an “Other”. That’s the way the ball rolls. I believe in reciprocal links all the way so thumbs up to all of you. Especially Call Pet who I recently noticed is linking to me! And no, WoW Insider does not have a link to me. It’s just the stupid school web restrictions have blocked the URL (buggers).
